Aspiring actress Nikhat (Khan) compromises any morals she has left to take advantage of an opportunity offered by reigning superstar Prem Kumar (Kapoor) to break through as a leading lady. Raped at the age of fourteen on the casting couch, the dirty world of glamour presents no surprises to her. Life is a dream come true for Nikhat with her rapid rise to stardom, until Zafar, an aspiring writer-director walks into her life. Nikhat and Zafar enter into a deeply passionate relationship that drives them to confront demons from their past as one's career rises while the other's hits rock-bottom.

LOST MOON is a visually enthralling and engaging piece of work from Sudhir Mishra (HAZAARON KHWAHISHEIN), and splendidly photographed by Sachin Kumar Krishnan. The film lovingly recreates the aura of the 1950s Hindi film industry through its detailed production design and melodious music.
