In a countryside village in Assam, seven-year-old Tora lives a simple, joyful existence with her parents. They share an amicable relationship with their neighbors- a pair of brothers and their ailing mother. These bonds are compromised when Tora's father, becomes entangled in a land dispute with the brothers. As the men resort to unethical methods to secure claim of the land, Tora may prove to be the small, yet significant voice of reason that can return all to their tranquil origins.

Director-Screenwriter Jahnu Barua reminds us to heed innocent voices for they embody wisdom well beyond the measure of years.
