Director: Andrew Levine On any given day in India and Nepal, young girls are abducted from their villages and sold into the child-sex trade. They describe their traumatic experience as "The Day My God Died." Director Andrew Levine, armed with a spy camera mounted on his eyeglasses, enters the brothels of Bombay to capture the grimy underworld of the underage sex trade. This footage is underscored by the stories of girls who have escaped from the brothels and interviews with the heroes of the movement to abolish the trade -- from the nonprofit organizations that rescue and care for victims, to former sex slaves who have emerged to form their own underground railway out of slavery. This film is disturbing and painful, yet it draws viewers in and leaves us with a newfound sense of awareness and hope. Co-narrated by Tim Robbins and Winona Ryder.
