During the 1960s, an Australian woman married an Indian professor and moved to his home in India. What begins as a quirky and humorous documentary about a multicultural family becomes a complex commentary on the social, political and religious events surrounding the anti-Sikh riots of 1984.

Safina Uberoi's insightful rendering of her family's history is both funny and warm, making us want to join in the activity.
