Nagesh Kukunoor's independent film is a bittersweet saga about friendship, hope and survival in a world contained within locked walls.

The story revolves around three prisoners on death row. Each has his own perspective on death; each has a different sense of the meaning of freedom. A documentary filmmaker tries to capture their world on film, but as the relationship among the group develops, it becomes clear that she has hidden motives.
