In lawless, rural 1980s South India, a colorful vegetarian gunslinger and sworn protector of cows, Quick Gun Murugan, stands up to the ruthless bandit Rice Plate Reddy, who is killing all restaurant owners who refuse to serve meat. Murugan looses the showdown and is sent to an absurdly bureaucratic afterlife, to await reincarnation. After successfully lobbying his case, based on the need to fight for vegetarian values, Murugan is reincarnated in modern day Mumbai, where he prepares to face off against Reddy once more.

QUICK GUN MURUGAN is a wild, action-packed western spoof with loads of cartoonish violence and some truly memorable scenes, making Shashank Ghosh a young comedic talent to watch.
