The most recent offering from award-winning director Vishal Bhardwaj (OMKARA, MAQBOOL), KAMINEY is one of the more fresh and unique films to come out of Bollywood in years. This fun and unpredictable crime drama centers around estranged identical twins Guddu and Charlie (both played by Shahid Kapoor) who split paths years ago when Charlie turned to a life of petty crime and Guddu began working at an NGO.

The action begins when Charlie is sent after a jockey who failed to comply with his boss' orders to throw his race. In tracking him down, he walks right into the middle of a gunfight and narrowly escapes by stealing a cop car, that happens to contain a fortune's worth of confiscated cocaine. Meanwhile, Guddu is blindsided by his girlfriend Sweety's revelations that she's both pregnant and the daughter of a powerful gangster politician. In their attempts to elope and flee the country, they're caught by cops who mistake Guddu for Charlie. Meanwhile, Sweety's father comes looking for Guddu and finds Charlie instead.

As one misadventure follows another, the brothers find themselves on the run from virtually every scoundrel in Mumbai and realize that they have to trust each other if they have any hope of survival.
