IFFLA presents “A Wine-Tasting Luncheon" at Malibu Family Wines,
a fundraiser supported by Wells Fargo



On Sunday, March 15, 2009, IFFLA cordially invites you to Malibu Family Wines for “A Wine-Tasting Luncheon” with special guest, Bollywood actress, Mallika Sherawat. This event, supported by Wells Fargo, will feature a guided tour of Malibu Family Wines vineyard, wine tasting, celebrity auction, lunch by Chakra Cuisine and a peek at IFFLA 2009. As our guest at this special event, you will experience reserve varietals of Malibu Family Wines, have a guide show you areas off-limits to the public and of course, meet Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat and other celebrities in an intimate setting. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Guided tour of Malibu Family Wines:The 1000-acre private estate is home to 60,000 vines, a horse stable, vintage wagon collection, retro trailer park and exotic animals such as zebras, llamas, and peacocks.
Wine Tasting: Guests will enjoy a tour of the winery with a stop at the picturesque tasting center.
Lunch by Chakra Cuisine: Delicious lunch by IFFLA caterer, recipient of numerous awards including the AAA Diamond Award.



CELEBRITY LIVE AUCTION  

Spend a day with Mallika Sherawat at a professional photo shoot! Experience first-hand the magic of Mallika vamping it for the camera. Have lunch on the set with Mallika and have your picture taken with Mallika by a professional celebrity photographer. Mallika Sherawat’s credits include "Murder", the biggest box office success of 2004, and “Pyaar Ke Side Effects”. She stars in the new Jennifer Lynch (“Boxing Helena”, “Surveillance”) film “Hisss” currently in post-production, and will be shooting her next project in Los Angeles this spring.

Wine-tasting dinner for 12 people with Ashok Amritraj, CEO of Hyde Park Entertainment and one of the most successful producers in Hollywood. Wines provided by Malibu Family Wines. Ashok’s producing credits include “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li”, “The Other End of the Line”, “Death Sentence”, “Raising Helen” starring Kate Hudson and John Corbett, “Shop Girl” starring Steve Martin and released by The Walt Disney Studios, and “Bringing Down the House”.
For the teenager in you, you plus 3 of your girlfriends will go on a dinner+movie date with Rupak Ginn, star of Disney's "The Cheetah Girls: One World. You and three friends will enjoy an afternoon with Rupak that starts with lunch at a fun place like Islands followed by a movie of your choice with popcorn and the perks! Rupak graduated from Harvard University where during his senior year, director Mira Nair cast him in the critically acclaimed “The Namesake”. Quickly realizing, as an auctioneer, she had been an 'actress in training', Tere landed her first feature role in 'The Deal', opposite William H. Macy, which is now available on DVD. Tere's Moto: "You Can Have It All!"

Live auction followed by a duet dance performance by Aniketa Shinde and Varun Gurunath courtesy of NDM Bollywood Dance Productions and Studios.
