For 20-year-old Gaurav Sengupta, filmmaking is an obsession. So much
so that his camcorder is akin to an appendage that goes where he goes,
capturing every raw detail of his life. He struggles to negotiate his
passion for filmmaking with his father’s more traditional expectations
for his future. His girlfriend arranges a meeting for him with her Bollywood
producer father but the man’s mainstream ideas send Gaurav running towards
more independent horizons. He meets Gayatri, an intelligent, progressive
woman with whom he instantly hits it off. Their relationship grows more
serious and Gayatri confesses her desire for a long-term relationship…minus
Gaurav’s camcorder. Gaurav must now decide whether to give in to the
expectations of those around him or to continue talking to his camera,
the only one who really listens.
