Lata and Joy are young and happily married, yet both struggle to maintain their values from within the confines of unfulfilling professions. Lata's sister arrives for a visit under mysterious circumstances, and as the story unravels, so do the lives of these three characters.

Director Satish Menon uses the film as a metaphor for a society growing apart intellectually and emotionally. Under the influence of the media as a tool for propaganda and with avid consumerism on the rise, it should be no surprise that relationships suffer.
